Natural Hair Loss Treatment the Eucaderm Way…
Alopecia (hair loss) is a very distressing condition that can cause widening patches of baldness. Here at Eucaderm Trichology we have found that treating hair loss the natural way is by far the best.
Hair loss is depressing, traumatic and embarrassing – I know because I’ve been there. If I had known when I started losing my hair, everything it’s taken me over forty five years to discover, I’m confident that today I would have a thicker head of hair.
Scalp problems can be equally unpleasant, and due to advertising pressure dandruff has become even more socially unacceptable than hair loss. Hair Loss, or alopecia, is a condition that can cause widening patches of baldness, and which is sometimes only temporary.
What causes Alopecia (hair loss)?
Extensive research has been carried out to find out exactly what causes hair loss and scalp problems that are becoming more and more apparent in today’s modern life. The results of this research have actually changed the way we approach hair and scalp care. Many factors – including illness, pregnancy, trauma, thyroid problems, diabetes, anaemia, crash dieting, and the use of steroids and chemotherapy can cause it. The stress of modern living, the limits of time and money, all seem to be against us. Much has been written about the various causes and treatments for the disease. It is generally accepted that alopecia is an autoimmune disease.
“In the case of alopecia areata, the cells under attack are in the hair follicles (structures that grow hair), especially follicles within the scalp” Quote from Harvard Medical School.
Stress is one of the main contributory factors in hair loss and scalp problems and the pace of our everyday lives appears to force us towards a diet which increasingly relies on junk food. Our hectic schedules seem to leave us too tired to take proper exercise, and fashion dictates how we treat what should be one of our most treasured possessions: our hair.
When the problems start, we look for miracles where there are none, and seek instant help from people who are more interested about what’s in our bank accounts than what’s under our hats.
It is my belief that when a person is the subject of stress, the composition of the blood changes. At the time of writing, I am not sure as to what these changes are, except that initial evidence seems to suggest that the white corpuscle count increases. This much I have learned from clients suffering with alopecia that have had more than the standard blood tests. Generally a visit to the doctor will result in tests for anaemia, thyroid and diabetes. In most cases no problems are found and yet the alopecia continues to get worse.
Statistics suggest that the build-up of Stress, Nutritional Deficiencies, Environmental Pollution and the use of Chemical Treatments, such as hair tints and perming lotions, as well as basic genetics, all play a big part in the cause of these problems.
I have studied and treated alopecia sufferers for many years now, and during that time I have seen many lotions and potions come and go on the market. Although I do have a great respect for the advances in medical science…
I have to confess by saying that treating alopecia
the natural way
has proven to be far more successful.
Best Natural Treatments for Hair Loss (Alopecia)
There has long been a need for a new approach to alopecia treatment and other hair and scalp problems, that will give hope to all sufferers and that won’t put too great a strain on their pockets. I firmly believe there is realistic hope for those who suffer from hair loss and other allied conditions, and I have spent many years researching these problems.
First of all, it’s important to understand that hair is a bi-product of blood. The health of our hair is determined by the health of our body. In other words the composition of our blood determines the quality and growth of our hair. Therefore to treat the hair and scalp, it’s not possible to obtain a good result by using topical lotions alone. You cannot feed the hair externally. If you could, the shampoo or conditioner would be systemic and that would constitute a drug!
After visiting the University Clinic Hospital in Wurzburg, and watching the clinic’s use of natural products in the treatment of skin complaints, my conviction grew that natural remedies were the answer to many hair and scalp problems.
Although time is a key factor, positive natural scalp care will help the hair to re-grow and return to normal more quickly. A healthy scalp is directly linked to a healthy body. Because our hair is a bi-product of blood, it is logical that to allow the natural keratinisation (the conversion of blood to hair) to take place, the composition of the blood along with the blood flow need to be in their correct values.
The improvement of the hair and scalp health relies on the improvement of the body’s health and immune system. The healthier the person, the healthier the hair. Circulation of blood to the scalp is very significant to hair health, as without adequate blood supply the hair follicles are not able to receive enough nutrients.
Scalp hygiene is very important, and is the basis for natural treatments. How often you wash your hair will depend on your hair type and your own personal preference. Greasy hair might need to be washed as often as once a day; normal or dry hair perhaps twice a week. All types of hair should be washed at least once a week to remove the build-up of dirt and pollutants which most of us are subjected to all the time.
A natural shampoo, preferably non-hormonal, non-steroidal and completely formulated from natural ingredients, is safe to use by everybody. Daily massaging of the scalp is also recommended, using the Eucaderm method of Scalp Stimulator Lotion combined with cold water massage for best results.

What causes poor blood quality? Bad Diet, Stress, Trauma.
Stress caused by trauma can be a factor that promotes poor scalp health or the onset of a scalp disease such as Alopecia. (In fact the author was involved in a bad car accident as a teenager, then some six months later suffered severe hair loss – see my story here) The extra release of adrenaline and stress chemicals affect the composition of the blood, so can cause hair loss. Being aware of this can itself help combat this problem and enable the sufferer to get help sooner rather than later.
The importance of healthy eating.
A healthy diet is a very important factor in good hair and scalp health. In particular what sort of food we are eating to not only keep ourselves alive, but keep ourselves healthy. It’s just too easy to ‘grab some food, and go’ as the saying goes. Unfortunately if we just grab and go, we tend to grab stuff that’s not particularly good for us, nor nutritious enough to keep our body in good condition.
It’s essential to eat RAW, uncooked, unfrozen food. Not many of us could sit down and eat raw foods day in — day out. But we can strike a good balance in our diets. If we are constantly eating cooked, or frozen (then cooked) food, then we are eating ‘dead’ food, having killed off all the live enzymes. There are food supplements that help replenish our reserves of live enzymes, and to read more click this link to another article.
Is There a Miracle Cure for Alopecia?
Over the years many so-called miracle cures have entered the scene giving brief hope, but unfortunately very little long-term help. Even with the discovery of the topical scalp lotions, Minoxidil and Propecia, the fact remains that few people have gained any lasting benefit even though some have been willing to spend large sums of money over extended periods of time.
Here at Eucaderm we feel we have discovered the best hair loss natural treatments for alopecia sufferers.
I firmly believe there is hope for those who suffer from alopecia, hair loss and other allied conditions, and I have spent many years researching these problems. I am now able to offer effective and practical advice combined with an amazing new range of natural Eucaderm Hair and Scalp Care Products.
The Eucaderm Hair Loss Clinic using natural treatments is revolutionising the way hair care is understood; solving many of the existing hair and scalp problems and which will, I hope, give much needed psychological support to sufferers.
The Eucaderm Natural Treatment
To be truly successful in treating alopecia, it is important to think of your hair in just the same way as your teeth.
Think about that for just one moment! Why do we bother to spend time in our already busy lives cleaning our teeth? Well we all know the answer to that question; it’s because we want to keep our teeth healthy and more importantly, to keep them as long as possible. None of us I am sure, relishes the thought of having to wear false teeth, so we indulge in a preventative treatment such as the cleaning of our teeth several times daily!
This care for our teeth was instilled into us when we were children. It was part of our education in how to look after ourselves, and we never question it. We also know that to prevent gum disease, we need to visit our dental surgeon or hygienist on a regular basis to remove the build up of plaque or tartar, which cannot be removed by simple brushing alone.
So what am I getting at? Quite simply, in my research I have discovered that to be truly successful in treating alopecia and keeping it at bay, needs the same simple approach to your hair as cleaning your teeth. Hair is very important to us; we certainly appreciate the fact when we lose it, so isn’t it obvious that we need to appreciate and care for it in the very same way as other parts of our body.
Although time is a key factor, positive, natural scalp care will help the hair to re-grow and return to normal more quickly.
I have taken a very logical, if not simplistic overview and have tried to make up for any nutritional deficiencies in the blood by way of a change in the diet. By recommending an increase in raw fruit and vegetables in the diet and a special vitamin supplement with live enzymes to aid absorption, and to advise the sufferer to create a vaso-dilation (increase in blood supply) by applying hot and cold water regimen.
As a consultant trichologist at the Eucaderm Alopecia Hair Research centre in the UK, I have naturally investigated all of these various forms of treatment. The thing about alopecia is its unpredictability. You never know where it will manifest itself and just when you think you have got rid of it and the hair starts to grow again, you discover a new patch, which plummets you back into despair. If you are not careful this added worry exacerbates the problem and so you enter into the downward spiral of renewed attacks of alopecia.
As an alopecia sufferer myself at the age of 15, I feel more than qualified in understanding and teaching about the psychological distress that is caused by this disease.
I hope this article has been of some help to those of you suffering with alopecia. Please take a look around the rest of this Site to find more information about this condition. The special vitamin supplement with Live Enzymes is available to order from the Eucaderm Shop.
