Resveratrol Health Benefits
Eucaderm is proud to be one of the first companies to bring Resveratrol health benefits to the attention of the British public and the research continues…
What exactly are the health benefits of Resveratrol?
Resveratrol is a valuable plant compound found in the seeds and skins of grapes that are rich in antioxidant compositions. Resveratrol can help protect the body against harmful changes leading to disease.
Any nutritionist will tell you that a diet plan enriched with Resveratrol will strengthen the immune system which will help you to fight many diseases. Resveratrol & TN25 is based on an anti-ageing vitamin which is taking America by storm.
Dr David Sinclair from the Harvard Medical School is quoted as saying: ‘Resveratrol is the best medical breakthrough since the antibiotic’.
The National Science Foundation of America has stated that they are looking at Resveratrol to protect against Alzheimer’s. There are also reports that it has helped heart disease, diabetes and even cancers.
Having trialled Resveratrol for several years, I now find that the clients upon which I did the study have shown a tremendous effect in relation to their restoration of hair colour and condition of their skin. All this has been done naturally, but it seems that one gets even greater health benefits.
Apart from these wonderful observations the web site Medicines Complete also say that on their research:
‘Resveratrol is used for its reputed anti-aging effects. It is said to have antioxidant properties and antiplatelet effects and is therefore promoted as having benefits in a variety of cardiovascular diseases, including atherosclerosis. It also has some oestrogenic and anti-inflammatory activity, and is under investigation in the prevention and treatment of cancer, because it appears to reduce cell proliferation’.
‘British scientists have discovered how to get biologically active doses of Resveratrol, the anti-ageing compound extracted from the skins of red grapes, into the body.
‘The major development paves the way for new treatments… which use the health-giving chemical to protect against a string of chronic diseases for a variety of cancers to heart disease and even to extend life. Researchers at the University of Leicester have shown how Resveratrol can still remain effective at fighting cancer even after the body converts it into other compounds.
‘Resveratrol is metabolised by the body very quickly which means it had previously been thought that levels would drop too quickly to make it usable in clinical trials. But now, the latest study, published in the journal Science Translational Medicine, found that in fact it is not rendered ineffective once it is metabolised by the body’.
